Having been directly involved in outsourced accounting since 2009, Andrew has a developed a thorough knowledge and understanding of the challenges facing SMEs in today’s continuously changing business environment.

In his capacity as a Director of the business MW Recruitment in Brisbane, Andrew has worked closely with a wide variety of organisations helping them to better understand their accounting functions and assisting them to recruit and build finance teams. This has included transitioning clients from a traditional onshore model to a more fluid combination of onshore and offshore staffing.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Queensland University of Technology and is a qualified CPA. Andrew worked for a second-tier chartered accounting firm and as a commercial accountant for a period of five years before entering the recruitment industry in 1998. Prior to joining MW Recruitment, Andrew worked as a manager in an international recruitment firm based in London recruiting accounting and finance staff for a period of six years. He now specialises in public practice accounting and commercial accounting / finance recruitment and developing career management strategies.
